The Controller will manage the Finance/Accounting department(s), overseeing all Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliation, and payroll activities. To succeed in this position, you’ll need several key skills and experience, including: thorough knowledge and ability in accounting practices and software; strong team management skills; comfort working with all levels of an organization; and the ability to deliver timely reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and legal requirements. This position comes with management responsibilities.



Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all activities of Accounting/Finance department, including but not limited to:
    • Produce accurate and timely financial management reporting, including internal and external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, forecasts, audits, and budgets
    • Accounts Payable: Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing, and corporate payroll tax compliance
    • Accounts Receivable: Ensure accurate and timely management of AR components including AR Aging reports, billings, cash receipts, etc
  • Consult with department heads and company leadership to review financial analyses and strategies, including budgets, project costs, benchmarks, and cost-control measures
  • Establish and maintain systems to ensure integrity of all finance/accounting-related processes, including compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits
  • Maintain knowledge of accounting-relevant software, regulations, and best practices
  • Provide professional development guidance and mentorship to Accounting/Finance department members



  • 5+ Years of experience in hands-on accounting managerial experience
  • Advanced level knowledge and ability in accounting/finance activities
  • Proficiency in accounting/payroll software, such as Quickbooks, ADP, Oracle NetSuite, Zoho Books, etc.
  • Excellent organization and time management abilities
  • Superb communication skills
  • Prior team management/supervisory experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Current CPA Certification
