ExecuSource is partnered with a rapidly growing private equity fund administration firm located in downtown Denver who is looking to add a Fund Accounting Manager to their team. This position will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of client funds and communicate directly with the General Partners of the Funds. This is a direct hire opportunity that will involve regular interactions with clients, team members, and upper management. They are offering a highly competitive salary with outstanding benefits! 


  • Supervise the preparation and distribution of quarterly financial statements to partners to report information regarding the performance of the Fund
  • Oversee the preparation of schedules to support the General Ledger balances reported in the financial statements
  • Calculate, prepare, and distribute capital call notices to partners to notify them when contributions are due
  • Calculate and review complex waterfall structures
  • Finalize required regulatory forms to ensure the Fund complies with regulation requirements
  • Calculate and distribute proceeds to partners to return capital owed to them
  • Communicate directly with the General Partners and respond timely to their requests
  • Review investment packages to confirm the securities purchased are sent to the correct beneficiaries and for the appropriate amounts
  • Calculate management fees owed to management companies for the investment and portfolio management services provided to the Fund
  • Interact and support auditors in the audit process
  • Provide excellent supervision to entire team, included regular training support as needed
  • Demonstrates mastery of subject matter and technical skill sets, as well as initiative to continue learning in fields as needed


  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or related field
  • Advanced degree (MBA or MSA) in Accounting or related field strongly preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license strongly preferred
  • 5+ years relevant experience in Accounting field
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in performance management, training, talent acquisition, and retention
  • Previous private equity or fund accounting experience
  • Forecasting and Budgeting experience during accelerated growth
  • Superior ability to communicate and interact professionally through written and oral communication with current and potential clients
