Our client, an innovative real estate investment leader in Buckhead, is currently adding a Desktop Support Specialist to their IT Support team.

The technician in this position requires moderate supervision; plans, evaluates and supports infrastructure. As an IT specialist, the technician provides resolution for advanced systems problems. Actively participates in global projects supporting the infrastructure implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Telephone and in-person support to clients
  • Support training/conference room facilities
  • Receives and accommodates hardware requests according to Policy and procedures, tracks distribution, allocation and timely returns from repair depot
  • Ability to perform advanced computer troubleshooting and machine rebuilds
  • Troubleshoot complex printer, server and network issues
  • Adheres to standard client’s policies, escalates issues appropriately, and utilizes tools provided for issue tracking and change management
  • Leads multi-location projects, acts as a resource for other regional projects

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge and equal proficiency of PC and Mac computers
  • Knowledge of Servers, PBX, Networks
  • Experience supporting office software applications in a Windows environment (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint on both PC and Mac platforms
  • Experience supporting of office collaborative tools (Outlook, Lync/Skype for Business) on both PC and Mac platforms
  • Knowledge of computer security products
  • Experience supporting Mobile Devices (IOS, Android)
  • CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification preferred
  • Microsoft certified in Windows 7, 8.x, or 10 preferred
